Bio

Hi! My name is Lorenzo and I am currently a final-year Ph.D. student in the Computer Science department at the University of Milano-Bicocca, in Italy, where I am supervised by Alberto Leporati.

My primary research fields are (fully) homomorphic encryption (FHE) and lattice-based cryptography. I like to work on FHE from both an algorithmic point of view — i.e., designing encrypted circuits, from sorting to machine learning — and a construction point of view — i.e., constructions of FHE schemes using lattices.

During my Ph.D., I have been extremely lucky to be hosted by some cool people: Wessel van Woerden at the Institut de Mathématiques de Bordeaux, and Frederik Vercatureren at COSIC, KU Leuven.
